Ingredients

Active Ingredients: In Each 5 ml, 1 Teaspoon: Diphenhydramine HCl (12.5 mg). Purpose: Antihistamine. Inactive Ingredients: Citric Acid, Flavors, Glycerin, Poloxamer 407, Purified Water, Red 33, Red 40, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, and Sugar.

Directions

Directions: Use only enclosed dosing cup designed for use with this product. Do not use any other dosing device. Take every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours. Tsp = teaspoon, ml = milliliter. Children 6 to 11 Years: 1 to 2 teaspoon (5 ml to 10 ml). Children 4 to 5 Years: Do not use unless directed by a doctor. Children Under 4 Years: Do not use.


Warnings

Warnings: Do not use: to make a child sleepy; with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin. Ask a doctor before use if the child has glaucoma; a breathing problem such as chronic bronchitis; a sodium-restricted diet. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: marked drowsiness may occur; sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness; excitability may occur, especially in children. Other warnings: Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222) immediately. Tamper Evident: Do not use if printed safety seal on the bottle is broken or missing.
